I know what it feels like to be stuck in your head…
To smile on the outside while silently struggling on the inside.
I’ve been there—lost in my thoughts, weighed down by life, unsure if anyone could truly understand.
Writing Unmasking Me was my way of turning pain into purpose.
But this movement isn’t just about my story—it’s about your story, too.
That’s why I created the Unmasking You Impact Tour—a nationwide initiative designed to meet people where they are, create space for healing, and help others find the words they haven’t been able to say. From schools and shelters to youth centers and correctional facilities, this tour brings together real conversations, real resources, and real hope.
At every stop, we invite individuals to take off their mask, reclaim their voice, and begin their healing journey.
But I can’t do it alone.
Your support—through prayer, sharing, or giving—allows us to offer free books, trauma-informed workshops, and safe spaces for those who need them most. It gives someone who’s been silent for too long a chance to be heard.
If you believe in the power of healing…
In the power of community…
In the power of being real—
Then join us.
Let’s unmask the world, together.
The Unmasking You Impact Tour exists to help individuals remove their masks, reclaim their voices, and take back their power. Through intentional storytelling, trauma-informed workshops, and restorative conversations, the tour creates safe, healing-centered spaces—especially for youth and underserved communities.
Rooted in the powerful memoir Unmasking Me, each tour stop invites participants into honest reflection, open dialogue, and the opportunity to share their truth. These experiences become part of the Unmasking You Anthology Series—a growing body of work on mental health, identity, teen parenting, and transformation.
This isn’t just a tour.
It’s a movement of restoration, connection, and hope.
The need for mental health support has never been more urgent:
1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year.
1 in 6 youth (ages 6–17) experience a mental health disorder annually.
Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among youth ages 10–14.
For every suicide, 280 people choose not to follow through—proof that timely intervention saves lives.
2 out of 3 young adults with suicidal thoughts open up to a friend first—highlighting the importance of trust and peer support.
Half of all individuals will experience a mental health challenge in their lifetime.
We cannot afford to wait.
The time to act is now.
Too many people—especially youth and young adults—are silently battling anxiety, trauma, depression, and identity confusion. They carry these burdens behind filters, forced smiles, or silence, fearful of judgment or rejection.
The Unmasking You Impact Tour was created to break that silence.
We’re not just speaking—we’re healing.
We’re not just telling stories—we’re changing lives.
And we’re inviting YOU to be part of it.
By partnering with us, you help:
✅ Support Mental Health: Provide youth in treatment and recovery with tools for self-discovery.
✅ Foster Education: Equip schools with SEL-aligned books and workshops that build emotional intelligence.
✅ Empower Rehabilitation: Offer incarcerated youth a bridge to healing through reflection and storytelling.
✅ Build Community: Show your commitment to youth well-being and social responsibility.
We’re doing something powerful at each stop on this tour:
We’re giving participants the opportunity to become published authors.
Through our Unmasking You Anthology Series, young people and adults alike will be able to share their stories of struggle and strength—turning personal truth into collective healing.
Because when someone shares their story,
they don’t just heal themselves—
they help someone else heal, too.
